So I finally am posting some pictures! We have been so busy having fun.. this is the first oportunity I have to post something. Canadian Idol was fun. Kelsey and her 'Tear em Up Tara" sign got on tv.. so that was cool.

I am at work.. so I better get back to work. I have more to post.. so beware!!

Tomorrow night we head to Canadian Idol for the live show! I cant tell you how excited I am. Actually we all are excited. We headed to the dollar store today and bought some poster paper, some markers and some glitter glue and the kids are making the signs right now. I will take pictures of them holding the signs.

Kelsey has been here since last Thursday and we have been on the go ever since. We went to Canada's Wonderland yesterday from 945am to 10pm! OMG.. we were all dead by the time we got home. I got burnt on my arms and chest, but we had a good time.

George took Kelsey and the kids up the CN Tower today while I was at work and then took them to Much Music. So they had a bit of a busy day.

Let me tell you I love having her here. She is so good.. polite and just all around nice kid!!

She's here!!

So Kelsey is FINALLY here!! She came in last night and we are so glad to see her. After the airport we went downtown to show her the CN Tower and went and grabbed a bite to eat. It was a late night by the time we got home but we had a good first night.

Every once in a while Amy would say "Hi Kelthsy" and she would giggle and say "hi" right back. It was cute.

Jarret was very shy with her. He didn't say too much and wouldn't look her in the eye for the first hour or so.. lol. Then at the restaurant he warmed up and they were talking and the three of them were playing.. so cute.

George is off today... I think the plan is they will go to Canada's Wonderland for the water park while I am at work.. then tomorrow we will all go back and hit some rides. George is excited to have a roller coaster buddy. Jarret can only go on so many because of his size.

Everyone is still sleeping, I am up because I have to make Char's famous Taco Dip for a potluck for work today. I bought the ingredients last night at 12:30.. talk about last minutes.. lol.

My mom sent a bunch of clothes for the kids.. as she puts it she "Hit the jackpot". Superstore was clearing out the kids summer section everything $1.98!! Thank goodness Kelsey has a big suitcase!!! THANKS MOM!!!

Also thanks Char for my candle holders!! They are really pretty!!! Cant wait to get them on the wall..

Quick post.

So there are 3 more sleeps and 4 more days until Miss Kelsey is going to be here. Very excited. George has a few days off when she is here which will be nice.

We managed to get tickets for Canadian Idol when she is here so that should totally ROCK!! I am hoping we can make a few signs and maybe get on TV. There are a few things planned but mostly cant wait to spend time with her. I know my kids are crapping them selves.

The past week/weekend was pretty quiet. George worked late and all weekend. Feels like I haven't seen him in ages. The Steelback Grand Prix was here so he was busy setting up and had to be there all weekend. It will be nice to have him home again. Its funny.. since its just me and him out here I didn't realize how much I rely on him for company.. I was pretty lonely. Well.. that all should change after today. Things should be back to "normal"

Well.. I am off to work in a bit.. not wanting to go. I have something I have to deal with when I get there that I don't really want to.. grr.

HAPPY CANADA DAY

Canada is 140 years old today. To celebrate the family and I are going to Canada's Wonderland. We will be going on rides eating food that will probably make us puke after going on the rides and then at night there is a fireworks show. Should be a fun and long day. The kids are already getting on each others nerves and they have been up for 5 minutes. Wish me luck!!

I have a bit of a migraine today. It started last night and I hope the 4 codeine pills I took last night will kick in sometime today!

Its been a while since my last post. This house has been sick. It started with Amy throwing up on Sunday.. then Jarret on Monday then what ever they had I picked up and was with it on Wednesday. Jarret was sick again on Wednesday night and Amy one last time yesterday. Not fun. I am hoping that is the end of it.

The long weekend is coming and I am so looking forward to it.

In two weeks miss Kelsey is flying to Toronto to stay with us. We are all very very excited for her to come and spend some time with us. We just bought a Nintendo Wii the other day so that should keep the kids occupied while George and I are at work. We have plans to go to Niagara Falls with her and to Canada's Wonderland.

I am heading to work early today because I left early on Wednesday because I was sick. Now I have to make up some hours. It's Incredibly hot here.. thank God for air conditioning.

Yup!! Jarret.. this is him after he got off the ride!

I cant believe he went on this ride! It pulls you up.. then drops you and you go around the loops upside down ect.. then it gets to the other side and pulls you up slowly.. then drops you and you do the same loops backwards!! I couldnt watch. My stomach was flipping.. and I had to turn away. I could watch it if it was just George.. but my baby was on his first big roller coaster. I was so proud of him. I hope he continues to go on the big rides..

Fathers day weekend in London

On Saturday George and the kids and I drove down to London for the night. George's Uncle Murray and his girlfriend Angie were there for work so we thought we would make a weekend out of it. It was so nice to see them and it was a good time. It was like a mini vacation. Much needed one for George, he has been working so much lately. The hotel had a really nice pool and the room was nice too. There was a LCD flat screen TV in the room. Decently priced too. So here are some pictures.. I have so many more pictures to post.. but I will wait until tomorrow. I had such a good time this weekend. Too short of a visit though. The walk was pretty amazing. All those people walking for the same cause. Pretty cool!!

The kids have grown so much in the last 10 months its crazy. I always knew we had cute kids in this family... this was a big reminder how cute they are!! Not just cute.. but well behaved nice kids. I miss you guys already! Oh yeah.. and the adults too ;)

I have known Michelle since grade 9! Have an awesome day. I wish I could celebrate with you.

Jarret is doing Jump Rope For Heart today. He raised $60 and with that he gets a "free gift". He gets a skipping rope some wacky ball and a cool water bottle. He is pretty psyched. I asked him if he knew what exactly he is jumping for. And he said yes.. for people who have heart attacks like Gramma Buddy. (George's mom suddenly passed away 2 years ago from a heart attack..) I think that mulls around in his head quiet a lot. I try to talk to him about her all the time.. it sucks that we have to but at least we can talk about. it.

Anyway.. that's another post for anther day...

I am working 10-6 again next week! I like being home early.. but the mornings are so rushed now. But I can handle that, if it means home early.

Well.. Jarret is wanting to have his cereal now.. so I better get a move on.
