We are leaving Sunday early early for Toronto! We are going through the States.. first stop Mall Of America! Then off to Chicago.. then up to Niagra Falls and on to our new home. I am looking forward to the trip. This would be our first family holiday. Cant wait. I am a little scared.. but I think I am more excited than anything. Saying goodbye to the family wasnt fun on Wednesday. I am already homesick. I will miss everyone!! Love you guys so much.

So we are moving to TO! I'm sure everyone is aware of that. We have 15 days until we leave. I am excited but sad at the same time. This is a great opportunity for George and for us. Its a new adventure for us. I feel like we are going to be grown ups for once. I feel sometimes we are playing house. I am already getting home sick and I just started packing today. I am so close to my family and the closer it gets the more sad I get. I dread saying goodbye to everyone. I am going to miss everyone so very very much. Ok.. I have to stop now I am getting sad.. there will be plenty of time for that in 2 weeks.

We are driving out to TO. I think we are going through the States. Stopping in Minneapolis, then Chicago. We are hoping to spend some time in each city. I have never been to Chicago. It should be fun. This is our first family vacation. I think the kids will have a blast. I know we will. I am going to post some pictures of what we did the past few days. We were at my moms and her apartment has a swimming pool. So we went swimming a few times. Unfortunately Jake couldnt be there.. he was at daycare. Maybe we can all go before we move.

We had a good weekend. Jarret is ok now.. he was pretty upset about his fall. Dont blame him, it looks like it hurt. Tims party was fun. We didnt get there until about midnight cause I had to work. We made up for it though, got home when the sun was coming up. I havent done that in a long time. I am pretty tired today though. I need a nap, we will see if Amy will let me take one today..

Its been a while. These pictures are from Jarrets school picnic last week.. it was fun having the kids there.. we were missing on big though.. Kelsey!! That girl is the busiest 11 year old I have ever met.. never mind 11 year old .. but more of a social life than most adults I know. I will have to get a really good updated picture of her and post it.. she is soooo beautiful.. I love that girl!! All the kids in our family are amazing kids!! They are all polite and funny. Some of the stuff that comes out of their mouths puts me in stitches.

I got a new hair do! Its very short. I like it though. I will post pictures tomorrow.. blogger isnt agreeing with me again..

I want all the details as soon as we can touch base. It's going to feel like we will never talk anymore with our shifts being so opposite!

Wacky Hair Day

Today was wacky hair day for Jarret at school. I used red Kool-Aid. Jarret was pleased with the way it turned out. We spiked the hair and put some hairspray in it too. He is pretty cute.

Not too much happening around here latley. I have a crap load of laundry to do so I better get at it. I will try and post pictures of Jarrets hair but we will see if Blogger will let me.

Ok.. blogger still wont let me post any pictures!! Arrrggg.. so frustrating.

I'm in love.. sigh...

Let me just say.... Dwayne Roloson! He is amazing!! I told George that I am in love with him, and George seems to be ok with it (i think he has a crush too *wink wink*). For real though.. George and I are pretty impressed with him. I have a soft spot for goalies due to me being one for Ringett for about 4 years, I didnt say I was a good one but I tried.

I cant wait to watch the Oilers play the next round of the playoffs. It will be good!!

We are back from our trip! It was so much fun. We were so spoiled too. First day there we went to the Jay's game in the Ticketmaster suite (Jays won btw). Tuesday went to Pearl Jam in the Ticketmaster Suite. Wednesday went out for super with George's boss then went up the CN Tower. Thursday was the only night that George had to site see so we walked to Yonge St had supper at Mister Green Jeans, winnipeg use to have one here years ago.. so kinda neet eating there. Then we walked, and walked, and walked went on the Subway to Yorkdale Mall. The subway was very cool. Saw Mission Impossible 3 there.. then took the subway back to the hotel. We left for our adventure at about 6:30pm and we didnt get to the hotel until about 1am. My flight was on Friday at 7:45am so I had to be at the airport for about 5:30am. I was a bit tired but it was all worth it.

I had a great time it was kinda neet looking after myself all week.. well and George. I didnt have to worry about getting kids anything.. making sure they were dressed.. teeth brushed.. fed.. ect. Though it was nice for that week, I missed them sooo much. I wouldnt have my life any other way. I might wine sometimes on how I dont have time to get my haircut.. or wear makeup or whatever cause its kids first then George then house then me.. but being away from everything "real" made me realize how much I love my life!! Things are good!!

Ok.. enough of the mushy stuff. I do have alot of pictures to post but Blogger doesnt want me to share with you. I will keep trying pictures are to come!

I am working 9 days straight this week so I can go to Toronto next week. I have the days off work but they are not with pay. So in order for me to go I have to make up 3 shifts. Unfortunately I will still be short about 4 hours even after doing crazy extra hours. Oh well, like George said I get a 5 day vacation out of it. I am pretty excited to go. I am starting to miss the kids all ready. I know they will be fine they are in good hands, but I don't think I will know what to do with myself without them with me.

George and I are going to see Pearl Jam while in Toronto which is cool. But what is even cooler is that we get to sit in the Ticketmaster Suite at the ACC!! That is going to be awesome! We have plans to go up the CN Tower too. I am a bit nervous about that, but George will be with me so all should be good. Not sure what else is planned. I will take a lot of pictures so be prepared everyone!! Well that's about it for now...

Going to the big city

George and I are going to Toronto in a week! He was offered a job out there and he is going for the week to work and check out the office, I'm tagging along to check out the city and figure out where the heck we would be living! I have never been east so I am really excited but also scared! George was in TO years ago for training when he was with Walmart. He loves it out there and is exctited for me to see it. Someone at work said its like Oklahoma going to New York I will feel like such a "country bumkin" (my moms words lol) when we are there. While he is working I will have to figure out what I will be doing. Unfortunately there is no pool at the hotel we are staying at so maybe since there will be no kids I will just "chill" have some time to myself. That sounds good now.. But one day with no one to look after will probably drive me crazy. I will probably walk around close to the hotel and Georges office with a quarter in my shoe incase I get lost in the big city!

Well best be getting to my laundry or something..lol probably the or something!!
