Going to the big city

George and I are going to Toronto in a week! He was offered a job out there and he is going for the week to work and check out the office, I'm tagging along to check out the city and figure out where the heck we would be living! I have never been east so I am really excited but also scared! George was in TO years ago for training when he was with Walmart. He loves it out there and is exctited for me to see it. Someone at work said its like Oklahoma going to New York I will feel like such a "country bumkin" (my moms words lol) when we are there. While he is working I will have to figure out what I will be doing. Unfortunately there is no pool at the hotel we are staying at so maybe since there will be no kids I will just "chill" have some time to myself. That sounds good now.. But one day with no one to look after will probably drive me crazy. I will probably walk around close to the hotel and Georges office with a quarter in my shoe incase I get lost in the big city!

Well best be getting to my laundry or something..lol probably the or something!!

Happy Birthday George

It's George's bday. He is 28! All though he thought he was only going to be 26 when we talked about his bday in November. He was quite shocked when I told him he was going to be 28. I think that's because he doesn't feel older than 25! Lucky guy, not really caring about age and stuff.. I wish I could think that way.. Anyway Happy Birthday George I love you and have a great day!

What a great weekend!

I had such a good weekend I really don't want to go back to work! I had 4 days off this weekend and it was so good!

Thursday: I got my nails done then went shopping with George's dad to buy furniture for his house. He had a house fire about 6 or 8 months ago destroying every thing in the house. He pretty much has a brand new house inside, and needs everything from major appliances to cutlery and plates! We went and picked out his fridge, stove, couch and loveseat! It was a lot of fun. After that went back to his house for pizza!

Friday: We went out for super with George's grandparents then to pick up Denise and Char for the social. I had sooo much fun! We all did. I drank and danced all night! We didn't get home until after 3am!! It was awesome!!

Saturday: When I got myself out of bed we went to pick up the kids from my moms and went to George's dads to see the new furniture and so George could hook up the TV and put the TV stand and some other things together.. while George did that the kids and I went to Kelsey's basketball game (which btw her team won!!) then went back to my father in laws then had to come all the way home to wait for our new mattress.. When that was finally delivered I headed back to my father in laws... Went to get Jarret from George's grandparents then picked up George's friend to get his car he left downtown from the night before because he had a good time and was smart enough not to drive home. We decided that we needed food and went out for a bite to eat and we didn't get home until midnight.

Sunday: Lazy day finally.. The kids were outside before we were out of bed! George went to watch his friends in a Poker game and I did some laundry and just hung out all day. I was happy that I could actually sit with Jarret and do his home reading and his homework last night. I am usually at work so I miss out on that. Put the kids to bed finally and laid in bed and watched TV until I couldn't keep my ewe's open!

Phew! What a boring post this is lol! I only have to work for 3 days and have 2 off.. Shouldn't be too bad. That's it for now.. I wont bore you any longer!!

I was Sara's first

I was Sara's first! I went to her house last night to get my nails done (replaced) and she spit on my hand! She told me that she has never spit on anyone before while doing their nails and that I was her first. I feel so blessed to be "the one".

LOL.. see Sara I told you I would blog about it. Do you think maybe I should elaborate on how/why you spit on me?? Or should I leave it to everyone's imagination??

So other than being spit on.. not too much to talk about. That was the highlight of my week.. Wow, that's a little sad isn't it?

I found out last week that my department at work is being shut down, and all the business is going to our center in Kamploops. (I take calls for Fedex if no one knows) and at first I was a little nervous as to what department they would be transferring me to. There is a new company replacing Fedex so I believe that the majority of us will be in the new department. It should be interesting.

George and I are heading to a wedding social tonight. It is for our friends Andrew and Michelle. George and Michelle have known eachother since elementary school.. and I believe before Michelle was in school. It should be a good time. My sister and sister in law are also coming with us. Fun fun fun!! That's it for now...

New bikes

Went to Canadian Tire and got the kids their new bikes yesterday! I guess they are really their first. It was their Easter present from my mom! Thanks again mom!! Jarret chose a bike with no training wheels. He was out with George last night for a while. And we will have to get him out tomorrow morning before we head out to my moms for dinner! Amy and I went out this afternoon and she was really getting the hang of it. I cant wait until we can go out again.

Mom and Gramma are back from their trip! It was weird not having any contact with them all week. I am use to calling mom about 100 times a day.. Sound right mom? I am glad they had a good time. I have talked to Gramma yet but I will call her in a little while.

We had an AWESOME dinner on Friday night. George's dad brought some Rib Eye Steak. George's Aunt and Uncle came for dinner too. George BBQ'd the steak.. there was shrimp, asparagus, mushrooms, cheese sauce and George's famous potatoes! We ate well! We watched Chronicals Of Narnia and let Jarret stay up for it. He was up until 1am! He was pretty excited for that. He slept in until 11:30am Saturday. We had a pretty relaxed weekend. It was nice having George's family over we dont usually get together with them very often.

Back to our normal day

Well Jarret is back at school today after being off for the week for Spring Break. Last week went by way too fast.. feels like I didn't see him at all. We went out to Teulon last Monday for a visit with George's cousins and his Aunt. Then we pretty much had a few lazy days then George took Friday off to spend with us. I love when he takes a day off during the week.. but it really messed me up. I thought all day it was Saturday. The weekend really dragged because I did a few hours of OT on Friday and I usually don't work Fridays. That was weird. The kids were actually healthy all week, that was nice. They are coughing a bit because of their Asthma but their Ventolin has it under control (for now). Jarret was getting up so early last week.. There were some mornings he said he was up at 6am! He wakes Amy up though and by Friday she was such a bear. She ended up in her room and ended up falling asleep for a few hours. She was much better once she woke up. So I figured Jarret would be up early today since it was his first day back to school. Boy was I wrong. I had to wake him up at 8am, and carry him to the couch. He was complaining about his eyes being tired.. And how he wished he could stay home. What a funny kid. He made it to the bus stop on time. He was pretty excited he didn't have to wear his Ski Pants. He was in his Spring Jacket! It was a bit cool but by this afternoon it should warm up. I am off today cause George is going to the Motley Cru concert tonight. Sorry for the boring rant.. not too much exciting happening around here!
