The Movies

I went to see Capote last night with my mom and her friend. I can be honest I didn't really know what the movie was all about. I knew that Capote was a writer but that's about it. I loved this movie. It was amazing. Phillip Seymour Hoffman deserves every award he receives for this roll. I follow all the award shows and I was really hoping for Heath to win something for Brokeback (which I also loved) but if Hoffman beats him out at the Oscars I will be ok with that.




We also went to see Syriana last night. Kinda a first for us we saw Capote then bought tickets for Syriana right after and met my sister for that one. I am not going to say I didn't like Syriana cause you cant really say that about something you couldn't understand! I am not ashamed to say I couldn't follow this movie cause I really couldn't. I was a bit confused during it lol. Oh well I wanted to see it to see what all the buzz was about. I am glad I went to the cheap seats to see this one. Sorry George (Clooney). I liked him in this it was a different roll to see him in but that's about it.

Sitting for about 4 hours in a theater was interesting. By the time we were watching Syriana my back was starting to hurt and I was getting restless. Why is it that when people who are sit behind you don't realize they have kicked your chair about 10 TIMES??? OMG the kid behind me kicked my chair.. And I am not talking about bumping it a few times but really kicking it.. towards the end of Syriana. My hair was actually moving she was kicking it soo hard. I don't know why I didn't say anything or tell Char! She would have taken care of it for me. Oh well.. next time I will run to my big sister and stand behind her while she yells at them!

Jarret has no school and he is running a bit of a fever. He has been lying on the couch all moring covered up with the magic bag to keep him warm. He is complaining of a headache and I feel so sorry for him cause I know how they feel. So I get to take care of my big boy today! I kinda like that he needs me. He gets pretty cuddley when he's sick. Don't get me wrong I don't want him sick but he's so cute when he is. Does that sound sick?? Oh well.. I am a sick puppy. George (not Clooney) and I are going to a Moose game tonight so my mommy is coming over to watch the kids. Thanks again MOM!!!! I guess I should end this... its kinda going on and on and on and on.. Its Official

Amy is allergic to all Tree Nuts. We had her allergy test yesterday and they tested her for Tree Nuts. She was also tested for mold and dust and hamster because of all her asthma issues. Those tests were negative so she gets asthma from having colds. My poor baby was so sad though. It hurt her and she cried it broke my heart. She was so good when we were there. She did what she was told with no arguments then all of a sudden we were scratching her with plastic tooth picks! She only cried as she was getting scratched then she stopped when it was done! At least we know now what to stay away from. Its a little scary though of what could happen to her if she accedently eats a nut! But I guess I cant stress over that.
Well I better go and get my boy up for school. He is so hard to wake up in the morning. He is NOT a morning person.

Where do I start? I have been sick in bed for the past week. It started with the stomache flu on Monday then turned into a migraine. I am finally feeling better. So, the pictures above are from a kids Trade Show last weekend. There was a meet and greet Dora and a Max and Ruby show. It was just Me George and Amy that went. Jarret was with my mom at a movie he said that he was too big for Dora.

Valentines Day came and went and it was pretty uneventful. We dont really celebrate that day, we use to but its another expence now. We say Happy Valenties Day to eachother but we dont do gifts or anything. Jarret is home today there are no school busses because it's -44 with the windchill!!! He was home yesterday but that was because he wasnt feeling all that great. He has a really barky cough and all stuffy so instead of sending him out in the cold when he's sick I decided to keep him home. George was home too. he stayed home to help me out with the kids since I was still not feeling all that great yesterday.. what a nice guy!! Thats that for now.. gonna go and catch up on my house work!

Happy Birthday MOM!

It’s my moms bday today. Happy Birthday Mommy! Who could ask for a better mom?? My mom and I are really close. I think I call her about 10 times a day at work?! There are some days she tells me she cant talk anymore on the phone and I should email her for the rest of the day. So we have about 10 emails by the time she is done work! So today she took the day off for her bday so you can imagine how many times I am going to talk to her today, plus she just got herself a cell phone so there is no escaping me! She is an awesome Gramma as well as awesome mom! Hope your day is good and George and I will figure out what supper is before you and Gramma get here tonight.  George and I are having my family in for cake and ice cream tonight after supper. Should be fun!

I just wanted to add I had an awesome bday yesterday! Went out for some good food, back to my moms for cake a presents! I got some scrap stuff from George and the kids (thanks mom) and I can not wait to try it all out. I woke up thinking about it this morning. Well have a good day everyone!

Its my bday today! I have been dreading this day for about 2 months. I have never been one to do that I always welcomed my bday but ever since I turned 26 I don’t like my bday’s. I really don’t want to be that way, so I am going to enjoy today and its only a number right? I honestly don’t feel like I am 28, so I guess that’s what counts. I have an awesome husband who never makes my life boring. I have 2 BEAUTIFUL kids who I love more and more each day… my family is awesome they are very supportive and we are very close. I guess I just feel settled in my life and that is a good thing. So, yayeeee its my bday today!!!!

Happy Birthday kelsey

It's Kelsey’s bday today. She is 11 years old! OMG I can't believe how old she is. I am a little emotional right now thinking about her being 11! She is the nicest 11 year old I think I know or ever known. It’s pretty funny cause she looks soo much like her mom they are the spitting image of each other but I think she is allot like me. Either she is older than she is or I am younger then I really am! Kinda like the later of the two! I don’t see her very much because she has a BUSY social life! When I was pregnant with Jarret I was soo upset cause I couldn’t imagine loving my own child like I love her! I use to cry about that. You know when you have a second child you wonder "how do I pass the love around equally??" well I guess that was my thinking. I didn’t know how I was going to manage that. My kids both adore her. She is the oldest child for my sister and Kenny, the oldest granddaughter, the oldest niece, and oldest sister to Jake. She is a pretty special kid. Happy Birthday Kelsey!! Have a great day!!

Exciting News

I found out last night that my friend Miriam at work is pregnant! I am so very excited for her and her husband! This will be their second child they have a son who will be 4 this month congrats you guys. Cant wait until your belly is big so I can feel baby move and make sure he/she knows my voice! Babies ROCK!!!
