A letter to my sister.....

Char,

I had a great time this weekend. I am glad we (me and Kenny) surprised you, even though you cussed like a sailor ;)I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Shopping on Saturday was fun. I miss shopping with you. I wish we weren't so old and get pooped out so quickly.

What can I say about Bon Jovi?? OMG.. so glad we saw him together (thanks Mom, I owe ya BIG time). That was so much fun. Who knew that even at a concert we could have our inside jokes and laugh like we were the only two in the arena?! My stomach still hurts from laughing so hard.

I have 'Snowman' on my desk at work.. and it makes me smile every time my eyes drift towards his teeth.. roar!

Miss you and love you!!!

Jay

PS.. will post pics another time.

Is that the Abominable Snowman from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer?

I'm green with envy that you got to see my longtime boyfriend ;P

Jon is a great guy. Standoffish, but nice.

So you surprised Char? Very cool.

Jenn,

Sorry I didn't even see this until now...

I had SUCH an awesome time with you this weekend!!!! That was such a special surprise and I will never forget it. You and Kenny and everyone else, Sam and Trish included ... are a bunch of LIARS!! LOL...in a good way though. I don't mind those kinds of lies :)

I cannot believe some of the things we laughed at. Seriously, we were in our own little world, and I love how we always try so hard to make the other one laugh harder, even though we do cross lines sometimes. I'm surprised Jon Bon Jovi didn't stop singing and tell us to be quiet! If anyone asks me how my visit with you was, the first thing I say is that I haven't laughed like that in AGES. And then I tell them that we could find absolutely ANYTHING funny. Even a light fixture on the ceiling could be funny to us for some reason that only you and I would know.

The kids loved having you here, and everyone was so happy to see you! But no one could have been happier than me.

Every time I see Snowman, I have to laugh. He's so cute, and for the record, I was jealous when he leaned his head closer to you for your picture.

So, to sum it all up, we shared many inside jokes, laughed until we had abs, got to shop and see a concert together, and we don't support human rights.

I really hope you can visit again soon, and I am planning to visit you guys too. Hopefully sometime after the holidays. We wouldn't even have to go anywhere except to 3 Ikea stores in 24 hours. That's all I ask.

Thanks again for surprising me like that, and I'm sorry for all the profanities!!

Talk to you tomorrow!

Love you!!!

Char

Shannon: Yes, Jenn surprised the hell out of me!!! Kenny picked her up from the airport late Friday night, but he told me his friend needed a ride home from his Christmas party, so I didn't really think anything of it. Before he left, he asked if I was going to wait up for him, but I was so wiped out that night, I went to bed before he was home. I was almost asleep when Kenny came home, and he immediately came up to see me. I was all groggy talking to him, and he said that there was someone here to see me, and all kinds of things started going through my head, and then I felt someone crawling on the bed next to me, and was REALLY scared to look. But, when I did, it was Jenn, and I couldn't believe my eyes. I was so tired, and all I could think of was how everyone pulled it off, how I had no clue, everyone is a liar, and how long did I get to have my sister for? It was INSANE!!!!! We had so much fun, and my boyfriend (and yours too by the sounds of things) Jon was performing here on Sunday night, so our mom gave up her ticket so Jenn and I could go. There was lots in between, but that's pretty much how it all went down.

Right, Jenn?

OMG - you guys saw Bon Jovi ?!?!? I heard those tickets were practically IMPOSSIBLE to come by!! Everyone here in Brandon was groaning over that fact ....

You lucky turds! LOL

I'm so glad you two got to reconnect this weekend. Sounds like you had a blast! And you two sound like you're a hoot to be around, too :) Glad to you got to see one another before the holidays!

Hey, Shannon...one more thing...you said my boyfriend is nice....how do you know that? Have you met him? I'd be supremely envious if you did :)

Jamie...yes, we got to see Bon Jovi...the concert was so awesome! We were very lucky to get tickets, so that made me happy. I've loved Jon since 1986 hahahaha (I AM serious)...

Jenn and I had a great time (I know I made that very clear in my earlier posts), and always do when we're together. I miss her alot, and after she went home, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at all the things we found funny.

Hopefully we'll get to see each other again soon, but I'm glad she was able to come to Winnipeg to pick up all their Christmas presents!

Char,

Nah, I never met him. But my sister saw him at a bar a couple of summers ago and talked to him for a good 10 minutes. He didn't say anything back though. He just stared at her.

LMFAO!!

Sorry - that's just too funny Shannon!!!

When you say 'standoffish', you really mean that! I don't like that he was like that. That's rude. Maybe he shouldn't be my boyfriend any more. I'm thinking of breaking up with him.
