Its been a while since my last post. This house has been sick. It started with Amy throwing up on Sunday.. then Jarret on Monday then what ever they had I picked up and was with it on Wednesday. Jarret was sick again on Wednesday night and Amy one last time yesterday. Not fun. I am hoping that is the end of it.

The long weekend is coming and I am so looking forward to it.

In two weeks miss Kelsey is flying to Toronto to stay with us. We are all very very excited for her to come and spend some time with us. We just bought a Nintendo Wii the other day so that should keep the kids occupied while George and I are at work. We have plans to go to Niagara Falls with her and to Canada's Wonderland.

I am heading to work early today because I left early on Wednesday because I was sick. Now I have to make up some hours. It's Incredibly hot here.. thank God for air conditioning.

I cant believe he went on this ride! It pulls you up.. then drops you and you go around the loops upside down ect.. then it gets to the other side and pulls you up slowly.. then drops you and you do the same loops backwards!! I couldnt watch. My stomach was flipping.. and I had to turn away. I could watch it if it was just George.. but my baby was on his first big roller coaster. I was so proud of him. I hope he continues to go on the big rides..

Fathers day weekend in London

On Saturday George and the kids and I drove down to London for the night. George's Uncle Murray and his girlfriend Angie were there for work so we thought we would make a weekend out of it. It was so nice to see them and it was a good time. It was like a mini vacation. Much needed one for George, he has been working so much lately. The hotel had a really nice pool and the room was nice too. There was a LCD flat screen TV in the room. Decently priced too. So here are some pictures.. I have so many more pictures to post.. but I will wait until tomorrow. I had such a good time this weekend. Too short of a visit though. The walk was pretty amazing. All those people walking for the same cause. Pretty cool!!

The kids have grown so much in the last 10 months its crazy. I always knew we had cute kids in this family... this was a big reminder how cute they are!! Not just cute.. but well behaved nice kids. I miss you guys already! Oh yeah.. and the adults too ;)

The kids are holding onto sensors that pick up their heartbeat and make the blue spotlights (as seen in the above picture ) go to the beat of their heart. Does that make sense? Lol.. I am posting in a hurry and not sure if that made any sense. This was last weekend at the Harbor Front for the festival Luminado. Very cool.

Jarret is doing Jump Rope For Heart today. He raised $60 and with that he gets a "free gift". He gets a skipping rope some wacky ball and a cool water bottle. He is pretty psyched. I asked him if he knew what exactly he is jumping for. And he said yes.. for people who have heart attacks like Gramma Buddy. (George's mom suddenly passed away 2 years ago from a heart attack..) I think that mulls around in his head quiet a lot. I try to talk to him about her all the time.. it sucks that we have to but at least we can talk about. it.

Anyway.. that's another post for anther day...

I am working 10-6 again next week! I like being home early.. but the mornings are so rushed now. But I can handle that, if it means home early.

Well.. Jarret is wanting to have his cereal now.. so I better get a move on.

I finally did it...

... and bought Amy a pair of ugly Crocs! I actually like them on her. Jarret wanted a pair but George and I did some fast talking.. then I felt bad cause I think he really wanted a pair. So I think we might go back to buy a pair for him. We will see.





Amy loves them. She kept thanking me for them yesterday. We went to Honest Ed's and bought some stuff for really cheap. It is a fun place to go.





Well.. I am so very tired lately. Not sure why. I think I am fighting a cold. My throat keeps wanting to hurt and my chest feels full. I hope I don't get sick before my trip home. That would really suck!

I will be in Winnipeg in 13 days! I don't think you realize how frickin excited I am!! I cant wait to get my hands on all the kids! I have a lot of kids I miss in Winnipeg! Emma, Jakey, Kelsey, Jaden, Collin, Taylor, Holden and new baby.. Micah! I also put in my order for my friend Miriam to have her baby before I get out there so I can hold him (they know they are having a boy)! As my previous post stated I booked my flight for my trip to Winnipeg for
The JDRF Walk To Cure Diabetes. It will be a very short visit but so worth it. I need to see Emma get tested. I need to see what she goes through. I know I will never know entirely.. but I will have somewhat of an idea.
I want to be tested. Do you think Emma will test me? I hope she does.. and I hope she can show me how to be brave.


Today George and the kids and I went to see Cirque De Avaia. It was so good. We had excellent seats.

Well.. that's it for now. I am on George's lap top and I am so not liking it. The my wrists hurt the keys are too close. But I do like sitting in front of the TV and on here.. maybe I could get use to it?

My flight to Winnipeg is booked!!!

Sitting here at work.. bored out of my skull. I hope I don't get into trouble for posting here.. but I don't see how it is a big deal. There are no calls coming in right now.. and if they do I will answer!

I still have an hour until I can go home. Its a long weekend here in Canada (for all my US friends) I can not wait to get out of here! Its not busy.. I'm just anxious!

Jarrets concert last night was cute. His class did a dance and song about the Ocean. They each had a line before the song. They said what they liked about the environment. They said it in English and French. He said he liked waves (the oceans waves) LMAO!! Too cute.

Amy sat on the floor in the front and totally taunted him! He wasn't singing all that loud and I guess that pissed her off.. she was yelling "thing Jarret thing!!" as loud as she could. Then as he went by she was grabbing at his leg!! OMG.. the more I think about it the funnier it was. George and I were just laughing.. it was so funny.

Crocs. They are so ugly. I swore I would never ever buy a pair, and I wont.. for myself. I am so going to buy a pair for Amy. Is this wrong? My own personal opinion is they are ugly.. but I am ok with Amy wearing them. I don't get me sometimes.

Anyway.. I did something else I swore I would never do. I joined Facebook. WTF? I had no interest at all joining it.. but I caved and now I am addicted to it. George was the same way.. he doesn't join stuff like that.. but he kept getting invites from people and he thought he would check it out.. now he is always on it too. Anyone else on Facebook?

Amy update: She is feeling a bit better. She is still coughing quite a bit. Her antibiotics are done and she is still taking Pretnizone. She HATES that stuff.. but its needed.

Jarret has a concert tomorrow at school. I LOVE stuff like this. I am switching my shift with a lady from work (Thanks Mary) so will be done at 6pm! NICE!!

Just an update.. I am feeling much better all around. Thank GOD this didn't last. I felt like shit up until about 3 hours ago.

We went to the FC game yesterday and they actually won!! They have played I think 4 games and lost them all.. not even a goal scored.. until yesterday. I am telling you the fans at a professional soccer game are the most rowdy bunch of any sport I have seen in person. It was such a fun atmosphere. We will HAVE to go again soon.

After the game we went to Emergency for Amy. In the car had a nasty asthma attack. She couldn't stop coughing and she was wheezing pretty bad. They took her right away and she had 3 Ventolin masks and pretnezone. A chest x-ray showed she had the start of pneumonia in one of her lungs. She was up most the night crying cause she couldn't breath. I tried to give her her puffer but it was not going over well with her. She finally calmed down and went to sleep.. but an hour later in my bed cause she was up with it again. She is feeling a bit better today (she should $140 in prescriptions should do something right?) but not 100%. It will take a while but she is a strong girl.

Anyway.. for mothers day we went to see Spiderman 3 at Imax. It was pretty cool. I got Jarrets present he made at school and a framed picture of the kids for my desk at work. Happy mom here. Jarrets made gift is a cd case with a picture he did out of clay. Does that make sense? I will get a picture and post it soon. Its really cute.

Well.. I promised the kids we would make smores tonight so I better get moving.. its getting close to bed time.
