Junior Kindergarten

First day of Junior Kindergarten. She was so excited. When we got there she was in line and she gave me a hug and kiss and said good bye to me. The teacher wasn't even there yet and the door was still closed. I asked her if it was ok for me to wait to meet her teacher before I go.. She said that was ok..lol. I had some weird emotions going on. Kinda happy kinda sad. Sad cause my baby is starting school.. And happy cause my baby is starting school. Make any sense? It does to me (Char I'm sure you understand what I'm talking about too).

I have been on the fence about having another baby for quite some time now. George is pretty adamant about us having no more but I just couldn't come to that yet. After today I am really really really close to joining him. Its nice having both kids in school. I cant imagine starting all over again. Don't get me wrong.. love babies.. love my kids.. But man its nice to have some time to myself. I am not doing much this afternoon I made myself some coffee.. And soaking in the quiet. For those of you out there that know Amy you understand what I am talking about!

I cant wait to pick her up and hear all about her day. I'm sure she will have lots to tell me.

Virgin Festival

What a weekend! We are all so tired but it was worth it. We had such a good time. I wish Jarret could have coffee he sure needed a boot this morning. The concerts were good.. the food was good.. the kids were amazing!! What a beautiful place Toronto Island is. I cant wait until next summer to go to the beach there. Jarret and I had VIP passes. That was kinda cool. Mind you we couldn't go into any of the spots for VIP's because no kids were allowed but it was cool just having the passes. Amy and I got free t-shirts on the way out of the Festival last night. She won batteries at one of the boothes and man was she excited!! She jumped up and down!! Good times!!!!

So we survived the first week of school. Wow did that go by fast. Jarrets first day on the school bus was today, that was a little nerve racking. But we got through it. We are heading to Toronto Island tomorrow for the Virgin festival. George has to work it and we got passes.. Should be good times. Did everyone out there know Toronto had an Island?? Lol.. I sure didn't. We get to go on a Ferry. I haven't been on a Ferry since I was little and we were in BC. I remember sitting with my Baba on deck of the boat watching the water and me making horn noise like the Ferry. Well that's that. I will take lots of pictures.. Until then.. Everyone have an awesome weekend!!

We went to the Air Show on Sunday.. here are a few pics. It was really foggy out so the pics of the planes and the Fire Boat aren't the greatest. We were sitting there for 5 hours. I love the pics of them eating their hotdogs. It was a good day.

Jarrets first day of school yesterday went well he said. Jarret is in French immersion. And last year the teachers spoke French and English. This school is different. They are 100% French in class. We were a bit worried about that too but Jarret said he understood everything. I will be watching and monitoring how he is doing. All is good here.. We are going shopping for Amy's uniform today for her first day next week. I am SO looking forward to that.. so is she.

First day.. new school..

Jarrets first day of school was today. He was a bit nervous this morning but not too bad. We drove him today cause its his first day in a new school.. plus he's not on the school bus list yet. Once we got there he got a bit more nervous. We found his class finally they were all lined up outside. He was the last kid in line. He was hanging out beside me and George and Amy.. I tried to get him in line but he wouldnt budge. His teacher came and took his hand and brought him to the front of the line with him. Poor Jarret he was ringing his hands and when we were about to leave he asked why we wernt coming in with him. He was with the teacher once we left though. So as tradition I started to cry once we were on our way back to the car.. lol.. geez I'm a suck. I think I would have been ok if he was ok. George just laughed and rubbed my back and said he would be fine. So now I am sitting here fretting. I just want to hear out of his mouth that it went well.. I cant wait until 3:30!!

Went to the ex last night just to walk around and for something to do. We were there for about 10 min when this woman and her friend walked up to me with 2 stuffed Panda Bears and said they just won them and didn't have any kids to give them to and do your kids want them. How nice was that? We stayed for the fireworks just as they were about to start it started to rain. We stood in the rain and watched the fireworks. The kids didn't seem to mind.

Not much more to add.. just chilling out this weekend. I still have to arrange school for Jarret but cant do anything until next week. Talk about cutting it close. But that's what I do best! Have a great weekend everyone!!

Went to the Argos game on Saturday. We had the best seats!! We could actually see the players faces. Georges friend and his girlfriend were in for a few days and we all went. Good times were had by all! Here are a few pics from the game!!

Everyone Loves...... Marineland!!!

What a day.. we had so much fun. We bought season passes so we can go whenever we want
until October 8th. I think we are going to go next weekend and feed the Balugas!! Cant wait for that. I am back on the Blog track so expect more updated posts.



The kids loved the rides. They both went on an "adult" ride with George. I didnt go on it cause I was too scared..lol. They are brave!!

We got to touch and feed deer!! That was pretty cool.

We are leaving Sunday early early for Toronto! We are going through the States.. first stop Mall Of America! Then off to Chicago.. then up to Niagra Falls and on to our new home. I am looking forward to the trip. This would be our first family holiday. Cant wait. I am a little scared.. but I think I am more excited than anything. Saying goodbye to the family wasnt fun on Wednesday. I am already homesick. I will miss everyone!! Love you guys so much.

So we are moving to TO! I'm sure everyone is aware of that. We have 15 days until we leave. I am excited but sad at the same time. This is a great opportunity for George and for us. Its a new adventure for us. I feel like we are going to be grown ups for once. I feel sometimes we are playing house. I am already getting home sick and I just started packing today. I am so close to my family and the closer it gets the more sad I get. I dread saying goodbye to everyone. I am going to miss everyone so very very much. Ok.. I have to stop now I am getting sad.. there will be plenty of time for that in 2 weeks.

We are driving out to TO. I think we are going through the States. Stopping in Minneapolis, then Chicago. We are hoping to spend some time in each city. I have never been to Chicago. It should be fun. This is our first family vacation. I think the kids will have a blast. I know we will. I am going to post some pictures of what we did the past few days. We were at my moms and her apartment has a swimming pool. So we went swimming a few times. Unfortunately Jake couldnt be there.. he was at daycare. Maybe we can all go before we move.
