We are leaving Sunday early early for Toronto! We are going through the States.. first stop Mall Of America! Then off to Chicago.. then up to Niagra Falls and on to our new home. I am looking forward to the trip. This would be our first family holiday. Cant wait. I am a little scared.. but I think I am more excited than anything. Saying goodbye to the family wasnt fun on Wednesday. I am already homesick. I will miss everyone!! Love you guys so much.

So we are moving to TO! I'm sure everyone is aware of that. We have 15 days until we leave. I am excited but sad at the same time. This is a great opportunity for George and for us. Its a new adventure for us. I feel like we are going to be grown ups for once. I feel sometimes we are playing house. I am already getting home sick and I just started packing today. I am so close to my family and the closer it gets the more sad I get. I dread saying goodbye to everyone. I am going to miss everyone so very very much. Ok.. I have to stop now I am getting sad.. there will be plenty of time for that in 2 weeks.

We are driving out to TO. I think we are going through the States. Stopping in Minneapolis, then Chicago. We are hoping to spend some time in each city. I have never been to Chicago. It should be fun. This is our first family vacation. I think the kids will have a blast. I know we will. I am going to post some pictures of what we did the past few days. We were at my moms and her apartment has a swimming pool. So we went swimming a few times. Unfortunately Jake couldnt be there.. he was at daycare. Maybe we can all go before we move.

We had a good weekend. Jarret is ok now.. he was pretty upset about his fall. Dont blame him, it looks like it hurt. Tims party was fun. We didnt get there until about midnight cause I had to work. Its been a while. These pictures are from Jarrets school picnic last week.. it was fun having the kids there.. we were missing on big though.. Kelsey!! That girl is the busiest 11 year old I have ever met.. never mind 11 year old .. but more of a social life than most adults I know. I will have to get a really good updated picture of her and post it.. she is soooo beautiful.. I love that girl!! All the kids in our family are amazing kids!! They are all polite and funny. Some of the stuff that comes out of their mouths puts me in stitches.

I got a new hair do! Its very short. I like it though. I will post pictures tomorrow.. blogger isnt agreeing with me again..

Wacky Hair Day

Today was wacky hair day for Jarret at school. I used red Kool-Aid. Jarret was pleased with the way it turned out. We spiked the hair and put some hairspray in it too. He is pretty cute.

Not too much happening around here latley. I have a crap load of laundry to do so I better get at it. I will try and post pictures of Jarrets hair but we will see if Blogger will let me.

I'm in love.. sigh...

Let me just say.... Dwayne Roloson! He is amazing!! I told George that I am in love with him, and George seems to be ok with it (i think he has a crush too *wink wink*). For real though.. George and I are pretty impressed with him. I have a soft spot for goalies due to me being one for Ringett for about 4 years, I didnt say I was a good one but I tried.

I cant wait to watch the Oilers play the next round of the playoffs. It will be good!!

We are back from our trip! It was so much fun. We were so spoiled too. First day there we went to the Jay's game in the Ticketmaster suite (Jays won btw). Tuesday went to Pearl Jam in the Ticketmaster Suite. Wednesday went out for super with George's boss then went up the CN Tower. Thursday was the only night that George had to site see so we walked to Yonge St had supper at Mister Green Jeans, winnipeg use to have one here years ago.. so kinda neet eating there. Then we walked, and walked, and walked went on the Subway to Yorkdale Mall. The subway was very cool. Saw Mission Impossible 3 there.. then took the subway back to the hotel. We left for our adventure at about 6:30pm and we didnt get to the hotel until about 1am. My flight was on Friday at 7:45am so I had to be at the airport for about 5:30am. I was a bit tired but it was all worth it.

I had a great time it was kinda neet looking after myself all week.. well and George. I didnt have to worry about getting kids anything.. making sure they were dressed.. teeth brushed.. fed.. ect. Though it was nice for that week, I missed them sooo much. I wouldnt have my life any other way. I might wine sometimes on how I dont have time to get my haircut.. or wear makeup or whatever cause its kids first then George then house then me.. but being away from everything "real" made me realize how much I love my life!! Things are good!!

Ok.. enough of the mushy stuff. I do have alot of pictures to post but Blogger doesnt want me to share with you. I will keep trying pictures are to come!

I am working 9 days straight this week so I can go to Toronto next week. I have the days off work but they are not with pay. So in order for me to go I have to make up 3 shifts. Unfortunately I will still be short about 4 hours even after doing crazy extra hours. Oh well, like George said I get a 5 day vacation out of it. I am pretty excited to go. I am starting to miss the kids all ready. I know they will be fine they are in good hands, but I don't think I will know what to do with myself without them with me.

George and I are going to see Pearl Jam while in Toronto which is cool. But what is even cooler is that we get to sit in the Ticketmaster Suite at the ACC!! That is going to be awesome! We have plans to go up the CN Tower too. I am a bit nervous about that, but George will be with me so all should be good. Not sure what else is planned. I will take a lot of pictures so be prepared everyone!! Well that's about it for now...

Going to the big city

George and I are going to Toronto in a week! He was offered a job out there and he is going for the week to work and check out the office, I'm tagging along to check out the city and figure out where the heck we would be living! I have never been east so I am really excited but also scared! George was in TO years ago for training when he was with Walmart. He loves it out there and is exctited for me to see it. Someone at work said its like Oklahoma going to New York I will feel like such a "country bumkin" (my moms words lol) when we are there. While he is working I will have to figure out what I will be doing. Unfortunately there is no pool at the hotel we are staying at so maybe since there will be no kids I will just "chill" have some time to myself. That sounds good now.. But one day with no one to look after will probably drive me crazy. I will probably walk around close to the hotel and Georges office with a quarter in my shoe incase I get lost in the big city!

Well best be getting to my laundry or something..lol probably the or something!!

It's George's bday. He is 28! All though he thought he was only going to be 26 when we talked about his bday in November. He was quite shocked when I told him he was going to be 28. I think that's because he doesn't feel older than 25! Lucky guy, not really caring about age and stuff.. I wish I could think that way.. Anyway Happy Birthday George I love you and have a great day!

What a great weekend!

I had such a good weekend I really don't want to go back to work! I had 4 days off this weekend and it was so good!

Thursday: I got my nails done then went shopping with George's dad to buy furniture for his house. He had a house fire about 6 or 8 months ago destroying every thing in the house. He pretty much has a brand new house inside, and needs everything from major appliances to cutlery and plates! We went and picked out his fridge, stove, couch and loveseat! It was a lot of fun. After that went back to his house for pizza!

Friday: We went out for super with George's grandparents then to pick up Denise and Char for the social. I had sooo much fun! We all did. I drank and danced all night! We didn't get home until after 3am!! It was awesome!!

Saturday: When I got myself out of bed we went to pick up the kids from my moms and went to George's dads to see the new furniture and so George could hook up the TV and put the TV stand and some other things together.. while George did that the kids and I went to Kelsey's basketball game (which btw her team won!!) then went back to my father in laws then had to come all the way home to wait for our new mattress.. When that was finally delivered I headed back to my father in laws... Went to get Jarret from George's grandparents then picked up George's friend to get his car he left downtown from the night before because he had a good time and was smart enough not to drive home. We decided that we needed food and went out for a bite to eat and we didn't get home until midnight.

Sunday: Lazy day finally.. The kids were outside before we were out of bed! George went to watch his friends in a Poker game and I did some laundry and just hung out all day. I was happy that I could actually sit with Jarret and do his home reading and his homework last night. I am usually at work so I miss out on that. Put the kids to bed finally and laid in bed and watched TV until I couldn't keep my ewe's open!

Phew! What a boring post this is lol! I only have to work for 3 days and have 2 off.. Shouldn't be too bad. That's it for now.. I wont bore you any longer!!

I was Sara's first

I was Sara's first! I went to her house last night to get my nails done (replaced) and she spit on my hand! She told me that she has never spit on anyone before while doing their nails and that I was her first. I feel so blessed to be "the one".

LOL.. see Sara I told you I would blog about it. Do you think maybe I should elaborate on how/why you spit on me?? Or should I leave it to everyone's imagination??

So other than being spit on.. not too much to talk about. That was the highlight of my week.. Wow, that's a little sad isn't it?

I found out last week that my department at work is being shut down, and all the business is going to our center in Kamploops. (I take calls for Fedex if no one knows) and at first I was a little nervous as to what department they would be transferring me to. There is a new company replacing Fedex so I believe that the majority of us will be in the new department. It should be interesting.

George and I are heading to a wedding social tonight. It is for our friends Andrew and Michelle. George and Michelle have known eachother since elementary school.. and I believe before Michelle was in school. It should be a good time. My sister and sister in law are also coming with us. Fun fun fun!! That's it for now...

New bikes

Went to Canadian Tire and got the kids their new bikes yesterday! I guess they are really their first. It was their Easter present from my mom! Thanks again mom!! Jarret chose a bike with no training wheels. He was out with George last night for a while. And we will have to get him out tomorrow morning before we head out to my moms for dinner! Amy and I went out this afternoon and she was really getting the hang of it. I cant wait until we can go out again.

Mom and Gramma are back from their trip! It was weird not having any contact with them all week. I am use to calling mom about 100 times a day.. Sound right mom? I am glad they had a good time. I have talked to Gramma yet but I will call her in a little while.

We had an AWESOME dinner on Friday night. George's dad brought some Rib Eye Steak. George's Aunt and Uncle came for dinner too. George BBQ'd the steak.. there was shrimp, asparagus, mushrooms, cheese sauce and George's famous potatoes! We ate well! We watched Chronicals Of Narnia and let Jarret stay up for it. He was up until 1am! He was pretty excited for that. He slept in until 11:30am Saturday. We had a pretty relaxed weekend. It was nice having George's family over we dont usually get together with them very often.

Back to our normal day

Well Jarret is back at school today after being off for the week for Spring Break. Last week went by way too fast.. feels like I didn't see him at all. We went out to Teulon last Monday for a visit with George's cousins and his Aunt. Then we pretty much had a few lazy days then George took Friday off to spend with us. I love when he takes a day off during the week.. but it really messed me up. I thought all day it was Saturday. The weekend really dragged because I did a few hours of OT on Friday and I usually don't work Fridays. That was weird. The kids were actually healthy all week, that was nice. They are coughing a bit because of their Asthma but their Ventolin has it under control (for now). Jarret was getting up so early last week.. There were some mornings he said he was up at 6am! He wakes Amy up though and by Friday she was such a bear. She ended up in her room and ended up falling asleep for a few hours. She was much better once she woke up. So I figured Jarret would be up early today since it was his first day back to school. Boy was I wrong. I had to wake him up at 8am, and carry him to the couch. He was complaining about his eyes being tired.. And how he wished he could stay home. What a funny kid. He made it to the bus stop on time. He was pretty excited he didn't have to wear his Ski Pants. He was in his Spring Jacket! It was a bit cool but by this afternoon it should warm up. I am off today cause George is going to the Motley Cru concert tonight. Sorry for the boring rant.. not too much exciting happening around here!

I want to blog today but I have nothing to say. Why don't I have anything to say? Am I that boring? I do have alot to do today I will tell you what it is,,

-Clean the kids "play room" (when I say play room I of course mean the storage closet)

Well that's what needs to be done around here.. But it wont all get done! Amy and I are going to get our nails done tonight. I am getting mine refilled and one broken one replaced and she is going to get her nails painted! I paint her nails all the time but I thought it would be fun to take her with me and get Sara to do it for her. She will feel so special, I know I do when I get my nails done! Jarret has one more day of school then school break!! We have some plans foir next week. I don't want him to get bored while he is home. We are planning a trip to Teulon to visit Georges cousin and her family. Planning a bowling day with Char and her kids. Have plans to go visit Joanna and her 2 kids I haven't seen in about 6 months. And my mom and I were talking this morning and I think we are going to head downtown to meet her for lunch next week. Busy busy cant wait!! I guess I did have something to say.. But I guess I always do!!

Today is a year since George's mom passed away suddenly! I cant believe its been a year. That day is coming back to me so clear like it was yesterday and it hurts just as bad. Its going to be a sad day today. I have been thinking about this day for the past week and hoping everyone in the family gets through today with happy thoughts about her. My thoughts are with everyone today who is thinking about her.

Dreams

I have come to the conclusion that I don't like to dream anymore. I use to like to dream even the bad ones I didn't mind. I feel when I dream now that its not a good nights sleep. Is this a bad thing? Am I getting old and cranky? I like daydreaming! Actually I love daydreaming. I do it all the time, what it would be like to win the lottery, what it would be like to be skinny, what it would be like to own my own house... ect..

On another note... Jarret came home with his report card yesterday. The Academic Skills marks eitehr stayed the same or went up a mark so I am very happy with that! The Teamwork and Personal management Skills marks either stayed the same or went down a mark. I am not too happy with that, I was not mad at him because we had some incidents this term with Jarrets behavior in school and I kinda saw it coming on the report card. He is like his mother and goofs off and talks a lot in class. Jarret has issues with the tone of voice he uses towards people sometimes. He is not a mean kid he goes from 0-10 in a second! We talked about that yesterday after I read his report card to him outloud. He is going to try harder to watch his tone and the way he talks to his friends (and at home too) But all in all I am pleased with his report card. He is such a smart kid, he's funny, very sensitive and just a good person.

Going shopping tonight with my mom. I have money in my pocket and its burning a hole!! I don't shop very often, but George and I took some money for ourselves after we got our income tax back and I still have some left. I need clothes so bad its not funny.

George had to take our car in to get fixed today, that sucks! But it will sound great once we get it back. Well I think I am done here....

A week??

It's been a week since I have last blogged??? OMG.. Where has the time gone? I guess looking after 2 sick kids all last week then trying to squeeze looking after a sick me time kinda flies by hey? Had Amy at the Emergency Room again, it wasn't her asthma but it was Croupe. She has had that before. Jarret was home from school Thursday and Friday he was throwing up for those 2 days. He was very upset that he missed out on PJ day! Both kids have ear infections and on antibiotics. What a house I have. George hasn't been feeling all that great either. Hopefully things get back to normal. That's about all I have to say for now.. . I will hopefully have more to say as the week goes on. That's it for now.

And The Winner Is...

ME!!!! Yes I was the winner of the first annual "guess the winner" contest. What that was is my mom who hosted this party printed out all the categories with the nominees names and before the show started we had to pick who we thought would win.There were 24 categories and I got 11/24! It was a close race though. I was ahead then my sister-in-law was then my mom was! Phew.. How stressfull! LOL! My mom had her house all decorated I will post pictures below. Please be kind I am not a photographer and something was up with our camera. The actual show I thought was good. I loved most of the dresses I did not like Naomi Watts dress. I did like Reese Witherspoon's dress (who won yippeee!!). I thought John Stewart did a great job. Anyway... Here are the pictures.. Well maybe not.. Blogger isn't being nice to me. I will post the pics later.

Its a sad day in the Nagam house!

Not sure if everyone remembers my explanation about my blog title Upusdown. If not I will refresh your memory. I called it Upusdown because that is how Amy said upsidedown. It was the cutest thing. George and I would try to make her say that word all the time. But today she was talking (as usual) and she said upsidedown! George and I looked at eachother and kinda had a sad face and asked her to repeat what she just said to make sure its what we heard. Sure enough she said upsidedown again. Jarret always tried to correct her and the "great parents" that we were would tell him not to correct her. How awful is that? But we didn't want her to I guess "growup". So again the wonderful parents that we are were saying upusdown to her and she was getting mad that we weren't saying it correctly. This may sound silly to everyone that we are a bit sad about this but it was soo darn cute. We also don't correct Jarret on a few words cause its cute the way he talks sometimes. He is 6 and in grade 1 so really we should be encouraging him to speak correctly. Instead of saying "make" he says "nake" or instead of "need" he says "meed" now that I see this in printing I think we start correcting him.

The Academy Awards are on Sunday and I cant wait! Every year the girls in my family get together and have Chinese Food and junk and watch the show. No boys or kids allowed. Its a long night but its fun. We check out the dresses and watch all the pre show. I have seen a lot of the movies that are nominated. I need to see Walk The Line and Good Night And Goodluck. I am hoping to rent Walk The Line this weekend. Unfortuantly my sister will not be there on Sunday.. she has to work :( We will eat lots for you CHAR!!! This has been a tradition for about 4 years or so... I look forward to it every year. It will be good times!

Not much else happening around here. Jarret is still sick. Today he was saying his ear is all plugged up. I sent his puffers to school with him which I usually don't but he needs them 4 times a day for 10 days and he coughs a lot so he needs it on hand. That's that.

The Movies

I went to see Capote last night with my mom and her friend. I can be honest I didn't really know what the movie was all about. I knew that Capote was a writer but that's about it. I loved this movie. It was amazing. Phillip Seymour Hoffman deserves every award he receives for this roll. I follow all the award shows and I was really hoping for Heath to win something for Brokeback (which I also loved) but if Hoffman beats him out at the Oscars I will be ok with that.




We also went to see Syriana last night. Kinda a first for us we saw Capote then bought tickets for Syriana right after and met my sister for that one. I am not going to say I didn't like Syriana cause you cant really say that about something you couldn't understand! I am not ashamed to say I couldn't follow this movie cause I really couldn't. I was a bit confused during it lol. Oh well I wanted to see it to see what all the buzz was about. I am glad I went to the cheap seats to see this one. Sorry George (Clooney). I liked him in this it was a different roll to see him in but that's about it.

Sitting for about 4 hours in a theater was interesting. By the time we were watching Syriana my back was starting to hurt and I was getting restless. Why is it that when people who are sit behind you don't realize they have kicked your chair about 10 TIMES??? OMG the kid behind me kicked my chair.. And I am not talking about bumping it a few times but really kicking it.. towards the end of Syriana. My hair was actually moving she was kicking it soo hard. I don't know why I didn't say anything or tell Char! She would have taken care of it for me. Oh well.. next time I will run to my big sister and stand behind her while she yells at them!

Jarret has no school and he is running a bit of a fever. He has been lying on the couch all moring covered up with the magic bag to keep him warm. He is complaining of a headache and I feel so sorry for him cause I know how they feel. So I get to take care of my big boy today! I kinda like that he needs me. He gets pretty cuddley when he's sick. Don't get me wrong I don't want him sick but he's so cute when he is. Does that sound sick?? Oh well.. I am a sick puppy. George (not Clooney) and I are going to a Moose game tonight so my mommy is coming over to watch the kids. Thanks again MOM!!!! I guess I should end this... its kinda going on and on and on and on.. Its Official

Amy is allergic to all Tree Nuts. We had her allergy test yesterday and they tested her for Tree Nuts. She was also tested for mold and dust and hamster because of all her asthma issues. Those tests were negative so she gets asthma from having colds. My poor baby was so sad though. It hurt her and she cried it broke my heart. She was so good when we were there. She did what she was told with no arguments then all of a sudden we were scratching her with plastic tooth picks! She only cried as she was getting scratched then she stopped when it was done! At least we know now what to stay away from. Its a little scary though of what could happen to her if she accedently eats a nut! But I guess I cant stress over that.
Well I better go and get my boy up for school. He is so hard to wake up in the morning. He is NOT a morning person.

Where do I start? I have been sick in bed for the past week. It started with the stomache flu on Monday then turned into a migraine. I am finally feeling better. So, the pictures above are from a kids Trade Show last weekend. There was a meet and greet Dora and a Max and Ruby show. It was just Me George and Amy that went. Jarret was with my mom at a movie he said that he was too big for Dora.

Valentines Day came and went and it was pretty uneventful. We dont really celebrate that day, we use to but its another expence now. We say Happy Valenties Day to eachother but we dont do gifts or anything. Jarret is home today there are no school busses because it's -44 with the windchill!!! He was home yesterday but that was because he wasnt feeling all that great. He has a really barky cough and all stuffy so instead of sending him out in the cold when he's sick I decided to keep him home. George was home too. he stayed home to help me out with the kids since I was still not feeling all that great yesterday.. what a nice guy!! Thats that for now.. gonna go and catch up on my house work!

Happy Birthday MOM!

It’s my moms bday today. Happy Birthday Mommy! Who could ask for a better mom?? My mom and I are really close. I think I call her about 10 times a day at work?! There are some days she tells me she cant talk anymore on the phone and I should email her for the rest of the day. So we have about 10 emails by the time she is done work! So today she took the day off for her bday so you can imagine how many times I am going to talk to her today, plus she just got herself a cell phone so there is no escaping me! She is an awesome Gramma as well as awesome mom! Hope your day is good and George and I will figure out what supper is before you and Gramma get here tonight.  George and I are having my family in for cake and ice cream tonight after supper. Should be fun!

I just wanted to add I had an awesome bday yesterday! Went out for some good food, back to my moms for cake a presents! I got some scrap stuff from George and the kids (thanks mom) and I can not wait to try it all out. I woke up thinking about it this morning. Well have a good day everyone!

Its my bday today! I have been dreading this day for about 2 months. I have never been one to do that I always welcomed my bday but ever since I turned 26 I don’t like my bday’s. I really don’t want to be that way, so I am going to enjoy today and its only a number right? I honestly don’t feel like I am 28, so I guess that’s what counts. I have an awesome husband who never makes my life boring. I have 2 BEAUTIFUL kids who I love more and more each day… my family is awesome they are very supportive and we are very close. I guess I just feel settled in my life and that is a good thing. So, yayeeee its my bday today!!!!

Happy Birthday kelsey

It's Kelsey’s bday today. She is 11 years old! OMG I can't believe how old she is. I am a little emotional right now thinking about her being 11! She is the nicest 11 year old I think I know or ever known. It’s pretty funny cause she looks soo much like her mom they are the spitting image of each other but I think she is allot like me. Either she is older than she is or I am younger then I really am! Kinda like the later of the two! I don’t see her very much because she has a BUSY social life! When I was pregnant with Jarret I was soo upset cause I couldn’t imagine loving my own child like I love her! I use to cry about that. You know when you have a second child you wonder "how do I pass the love around equally??" well I guess that was my thinking. I didn’t know how I was going to manage that. My kids both adore her. She is the oldest child for my sister and Kenny, the oldest granddaughter, the oldest niece, and oldest sister to Jake. She is a pretty special kid. Happy Birthday Kelsey!! Have a great day!!

Exciting News

I found out last night that my friend Miriam at work is pregnant! I am so very excited for her and her husband! This will be their second child they have a son who will be 4 this month congrats you guys. Cant wait until your belly is big so I can feel baby move and make sure he/she knows my voice! Babies ROCK!!!

8 Years

Today is my Wedding Anniversary! George and I have been married for 8 years! We have been through ALOT in these past 8 years. We have been through a move to another province and back again, a separation, children, death, being happy,being sad, being angry, being broke, not being broke.. What a rollercoaster!! Going through all the stuff we have gone through I am glad it was with him!! We were married at 19, and I know a lot of people didn't see us making more than a year! We had some rough patches.. But who doesn't?? He is my best friend.. I can tell him anything and be myself! He laughs at my "blondeness" I'm sure he gets frustrated sometimes because I can be very "blonde" sometimes, but he usually just laughs it off and tells me he loves me because I don't know certain things. Being married to George is fun.. He isn't a very serious person, sometimes I can be very serious about things and he is there to remind me to have fun and "don't worry about it" If he wasn't here to tell me that I would be acting like an old person. I better stop he may not like the fact I am talking about him on here.. lol.. but I just wanted to share.

What me... Scrapbook??

Well I went to Michaels with my mom and sister the other night because I have been thinking about starting to scrap. I am so not a creative person but a few years ago I received some scrapbook supplies. I just used them last month for my nieces bday card. I really enjoyed it! I just made a card tonight and it took FOREVER!!! I didn't know what to do. I enjoyed it but I was getting a bit frustrated cause I am very hard on myself and think that it will be ugly and no one will like it. I think it turned out pretty good considering its my first real attempt. I put it away and maybe I will go back to it again with more ideas. The funny thing is Jarret wanted to do one so he and I sat at the coffee table for about an hour and made our cards. I envy him so much cause he just did what he wanted and didn't second guess himself. I wish I was a kid again. His is really cute. I will post both of them after the bday party (don't want the bday girl to see it before I give it to her) I think I might look into taking a class or something *sigh*. I have never really had a hobby so I really hope I can get the hang of it.

So George and his uncle went to Nickelback tonight he was sooo excited! Well Jarret says he needs cereal before bed so I need to get to it! Have a good one!

HELP

Ok.. so I know a few posts ago I was all happy about Amy finally being potty trained and I had to work on #2 but everything was good. Well.. she is still really good during the day for Pee and actually we have had no overnight accidents ever so you would think I would be thrilled. Well.. I am beside myself because she WILL NOT go #2 on the potty. She goes in her underwear EVERY time! I have tried talking nicely to her.. I have tried rewards... I have been angry with her... I don't know what to do. Yesterday she went for her nap and after her nap she was all pooppy. I lost it.. I got mad and I took her Tutu away from her and her Bella Dancerella too. I went to work after that and when I got home George said she did it AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! What is up with that?? I need some help.. I am really at wits end with this. Please anyone with any suggestions out there???? I need some help..

Today is Jakes first day of daycare! Just want to say good luck.. Auntie hopes you have a good day and play,play, play!! Tell your mom everything will be fine and you will miss her but will have fun and she should go home and sleep after she drops you off!! Hugs and kisses!!

My Date

Our date on Friday was soo much fun! We took the kids to my moms afer George was done work and we all ate supper there.. then George and I headed to the movie! We saw MUNICH it was really good. It was a long one but really good. It was kinda weird going out and not worrying about the kids. It felt like we were dating all over again. I felt all giddy. After the movie we went out for a few drinks at MOVADOS left there and went to BOOMERS for a few more drinks (and some entertainment). We didn't get home until 2am. We definitely have to do this again.

My date started early!!

George came home with a dozen red roses for me tonight!! He told me its the start of our date for tomorrow!! The kids were really cute about it.. Amy asked why daddy gave me flowers and I said cause he loves me! She said "ok" then preceded to go over to Jarret and tell him she loves him! Too cute.. I LOVE getting flowers! So pretty!! Now I really cant wait for tomorrow!

I have a hot date on Friday! Its with a really really cute guy! He is smart and funny oh and did I mention cute??? We are going to a movie then probably out for nachos or something like that after! I might even ask him to come home with me!! You never know *nudge nudge, wink wink* Its been a VERY VERY long time since I have had a date with him so I am very excited! I am gonna get all dressed up and made up! I may even leave my hair out of a pony tail! I will let you know how it goes!! Looking forward to it!!!!!

Nothing really exciting happening around here. I check my blog everyday and I was getting sick of looking at my post from a week ago so something new to look at now. My life is pretty boring. I was not at work last night due to a migrain. I have been trying to make it to work when I get migrains lately but just couldn't do it yesterday. Amy woke up today sick again. Her asthma is acting up again. That girl can't be well for more than a week. She is on her ventolin again.. and using her Flovent. We will see what happends this week.

Brokeback Mountain

So I went to sese Brokback Mountain last night with my mom her friend, my sister and sister in law.. this is one I definetly had to see in the theater! While I was watching I knew I was liking it.. once it was over we all were talking about it and we said that this movie had to sink in.. well it sunk in and I want to see it again. This is a true love story. Heath Ledger = amazing

Jake Gyllenhaal = amazing. The acting was probably the best acting I have seen in a movie in a long time. I truely believed these two were in love with eachother. And they were pretty to watch at the same time.. had to throw that in!! My sister and I were talking and we were both worried that some people in the theater wouldn't be very mature about some of the scenes. We were both wrong.. the two younger girls beside me giggled a few times, but it could have been because they saw Heath in his skivies!! Well that's it on this movie.

FINALLY

I think its safe to say Amy is on her way to being potty trained! I have been trying since MAY!! I read her Once Upon A Potty last week and ever since then she has been going P on her own. We are still working on over night and #2. But I am so happy that she is on her way. She is pretty much dry in the morning so I will start putting her on the potty when I get home from work in the evening at 11:30. She should be good until she wakes up. I was doing some thinking and in the past 6 years I have only been diaper free for 2 months when Jarret was trained before I had Amy that's alot of diapers!!

So I will keep you updated on her progress.. yippeee!!!

To eat in bed or not to eat in bed? That is the question!!

George and I have this ongoing...Lets call it discussion about if its right to eat in bed or not. Of course my stand on it is NO! While he sees nothing wrong with it. He wants me to make it clear to anyone who has not been here about how small our house is. Yes it is very very small and our bedroom is right across from the kitchen. My stand is our bedroom is like a "family room" the kids are always in there with there toys and food watching tv. That room is probably used more than any other room in the house. So, its bad enough toys and everyone's stuff is in our room all the time. so I would like to draw the line at eating in our bed!!

Wow.. Its been a few days since I have last blogged! The Saskatoon trip was good... Saw baby and she is adorable. I was going to post her pic but for some reason I cant upload the pics from the camera to the computer from home, so George will have to do it at work for me. I have a lot of pics to post.

We left the kids in Winnipeg with family while we were away.. I had a hard time leaving them I had to hold back the tears cause I didn't want them to get upset. Once we were there it was good though. We got to sleep a lot and that is always a plus. When we came home George and I were laying in bed on New Years Day and he said that it didn't sound right in here so I went and got the kids from my moms! That night he looked at me and said that its sounds right now!! So cute and so right.

Funny story about Amy on Christmas..

For about 2 months before Christmas I asked her what she wanted Santa to bring her. She said for 2 months that she wanted Cinderella! So Santa got the Cinderella doll about 2 weeks before the big day. So on the 23rd I took both kids to the mall to see the big guy and I asked both kids what they wanted Jarret said again he wanted his B D Man (sp?) and Amy said DORA! I just looked at her.. and asked again. She again said Dora. I asked her about Cinderella and she said she didn't like her. I didn't know what to say. So I just figured she would be good with the Cinderella doll. Christmas morning comes and she woke up did the stocking thing.. everything is good.. then the Santa present. She was sooo excited she ripped open the paper and she saw Cinderella looking at her and she started to cry!!! She put her head down and cried!! My heart broke into a million pieces! She only cried for a min and then quickly wiped the tears away and said its ok its ok.. and she pretended to be happy. I have never seen a kid cry after opening a Santa gift! Poor kid.. Isn't it true that they say kids don't really have any memories before they turn 4?? God I hope so!!
